About the Association

The Activities We Organise

  • Visits to churches and organs in the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire area and further afield, with the opportunity to play and hear the organs and meet other members
  • Celebrity organ recitals and lectures
  • Recitals by our members and guests from other organist associations
  • Meetings with discussions on subjects of interest to organists and enthusiasts
  • An annual outing, visiting major organs in Cathedrals, Major City Centre Parish Churches, City Halls etc where members can play or listen to the instrument
  • Visit to the workshops of organ builders
  • Young Organists Training Scheme (see relevant page)

  • Subs are £20 payable each calendar year, Four pounds of that goes to the The Incorporated Association of Organists (IAO) – To find information about the IAO go to iao.org.uk
